The Independent School Alliance, based in South California, is an organization of private schools that seek to improve their diversity. Yesterday, March 17th, they held their 30th anniversary gala, which was attended by a number of South California celebrities, including Jessica Alba and Stacey Keibler. Jessica was there to present, and also to support guest of honour Brian Lee, who co-founded The Honest Company with Jessica in 2012.

Jessica was beautifully dressed for the gala, in an outfit that would work for a number of formal or semi-formal events. She wore a pretty white short-sleeved blouse with tailored black high-waisted trousers and black pumps. The asymmetrical pleating details on her blouse added interest without spoiling the simplicity of the outfit – a piece like this would definitely become a real staple in your wardrobe! This would be a great outfit for work, or for any event where you want to look pretty and well-dressed, but would still like to keep things formal. Jessica accessorized with a pretty gold cut-out bangle, and with a studded black clutch bag, which added a little edge, and a touch of personality. She also showed off her gorgeous ombre bob haircut, and highlighter her tanned skin with glowing gold makeup.

Also in attendance was Stacey Keibler, wearing a bold red pencil dress. The textured fabric and bold zip down the front gave it a modern, futuristic feel, while the colour and cut were much more classic. Like Jessica, she chose to wear simple black pumps. Her other accessories were all gold, including a small box clutch, large earrings, and a selection of rings.

What do you think of Jessica’s and Stacey’s outfits? Would you ever copy Jessica for workwear inspiration?
