New York fashion week is always one of the biggest of the world’s fashion weeks, and tends to attract the most celebrities, maybe just because so many live in New York! This year’s events have been just as star-studded as always, with designers competing to get the biggest names in their front rows. Of course, this is a great opportunity to spot celebrities dressed in their very best, and there have been some very inspiring outfits.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been regulars around New York, popping up at a few events, occasionally even with North West in tow. Both of them have been keeping things low-key, dressing mainly in black and seeming to be very focused on the clothes in front of them.
Olivia Palermo has also been appearing at plenty of shows, as usual, and has managed to look impeccable all the time, despite the freezing temperatures in New York. Her elegant and polished outfits, with a little bit of 70s-inspired flair, are really great inspiration for anyone else dealing with unpleasantly cold weather.
Apart from the usual round of shows from many of the biggest names in international fashion, there have been a number of other celebrity events as part of New York Fashion Week. Naomi Campbell hosted a charity fashion show entitled Fashion For Relief, which was attended by Paris Hilton, Mary J. Blige and Michelle Rodriguez, among others.
Shows at New York Fashion Week have included Thakoon, Derek Lam, Alexander Wang, DKNY, Diane von Fustenberg, Jill Stuart, and many many more.
