Summer is on its way, which means it’s time for wanderlust to take over our hearts. Packing is not easy. There is nothing like a vacation to bring out the sophisticate in all of us. When we finally stuff all of our items into a very heavy suitcase, relieved with it finally zips, only to remember we need an outfit for the airport.
Think chic and simple. Pack items that will work in more ways than one and with colors that complement each other. It’s hard to go wrong with basic black and grey, but every suitcase should have a pop of color. Try not to overstuff your bag though, there’s nothing worse than wrestling a suitcase onto a bus or train.
No matter if you’re getting ready for a romantic trip for two or a weekend getaway with your friends, FMag has put together a variety of summer travel outfits for any type of traveler.
Airplane Outfit
Being comfortable on a plane is a must. How do you select an ensemble that’ll be comfortable enough to travel in, but chic enough from making you feel lazy. Whether or not your destination is warm, layers are still important in the summer. Low-top sneakers will get you where you need to be going in no time. Add a pair of distressed capris and a cardigan, and you’ll be ready to go. A lightweight top layer will keep you warm during cold flights. We’ve paired a chic tank top with boyfriend jeans and a light cardigan.
Sightseeing Outfit
Tours, museums, manors or houses. Whether your visiting Montecarlo or walking along the river in London, nothing is more comfortable or easier than a day dress. You’re taking photos in these places, so you’re going to want to dress to impress. Mix and match with a jacket, hat and sandals to be ready for a perfect day sightseeing. Just add sunglasses and you’re ready to go.
Night Out
Summer travel may be casual, but that doesn’t mean you can’t dress it up. Try pairing a maxi dress with some wedges as an easy go-to for dinner or even a night out for drinks. Wedges may take up more room in your luggages, but they’re worth the comfort.
