Can you wear skirts in the winter? To answer that question, I try to answer it with two different types of response. The first type is skirt outfit ideas that actually look good and will keep you warm, while the second type is outfits that looks stunning when wintertime comes but only for those who are not afraid of the cold. I love the idea of wearing skirts in the winter, compared to just wearing boring and dark clothes all the time. Let’s check out some of my favorite ideas now.
High Waisted Royal Blue Skirt & Black Leather Jacket
Let’s start with one that uses a stunning color in royal blue. Simply wear a grey top with a high waisted royal blue skirt and a black leather jacket. Pair the outfit with royal blue heels. The fact that the skirt and the shoes has the exact same bright color makes the outfit look so unique and eye catching. Wear a White Midi Pencil Skirt in Winter
When I have to imagine an outfit that can match the snow perfectly, this outfit is probably it. You can wear a blue and white striped shirt with a black wool jacket. For the bottom, wear a white midi pencil skirt, black leggings and knee high leather boots. Complete this dreamy outfit with white fur hat.
Wear Black Mini Skirt with Long Trench Coat in Winter
When it comes to wearing skirt in winter, this outfit is probably one of the most classic one. The outfit consists of a white sweater, a long grey trench coat, a black mini skirt and knee high leather boots. Wear the black stockings to keep you warmer.
Black Knit Sweater & Mini Flare Skirt
This is one of those outfit ideas I mentioned earlier that they look beautiful in the winter but don’t really keep you that warm. Having said that, you can always wear a long trench coat with it, but that would somewhat becomes another outfit idea. Back to this outfit, you can simply wear a black slim fit knit sweater with a black flare mini skirt. Complete the look with stockings and black ankle boots. If you are not afraid of the cold, I bet you will look attractive wearing this in the winter.
High Waisted Mini Flare Skirt & Knee High Boots
As another beautiful-over-function winter outfit, you can wear a black and white top with a black, high waisted mini flare skirt. Pair them with a beige leather jacket and black knee high boots. You can really stand out with this while other people are wearing in clunky ways in the winter.
White Flare Skirt with Black Leather Jacket & Leggings
This outfit consists of the darkness in the leather jacket and the cuteness in the floral top. Add some layers by wearing a white flare skirt, leggings and black leather ankle boots. This is a less common way to wear the black leather jacket. Try this and not look so dark all the time when wintertime comes.
Black Leather Mini Skirt, Leggings & Blazer in Winter
As a both beautiful and functional winter outfit, you can wear a slim fit cream knit sweater with a black blazer, a black leather mini skirt, leggings and ankle boots. Add a little bit of cute element by wearing a polka dot scarf.
Grey Mini Skirt & Long Navy Cardigan
This outfit idea is a good demonstration of using the black, grey and navy color combination. The colors simply express a cold, snowy, greyish winter-like feeling. Simply wear a grey slim fit sweater, a grey mini skirt, leggings and black ankle boots. Pair these pieces with two navy blue items in the long cardigan and the knit hat.

Occasionally, you may want to dress girly and fun to balance out the greyish winter days. You can wear all white with the white top, the blazer and the twirly frill skirt. Interestingly make it all black at the bottom by wearing black leggings and leather boots.
White Knit Sweater & Black Leather Mini Skirt
This is another outfit that keeps things simple yet unbelievably refreshing looking in the winter. Wear a white knit sweater with black leather mini skirt and black ankle boots. That’s it. Simple but good.
Blue Polka Dot Maxi Skirt & Ankle Boots
Of course, if you want to wear a skirt in the winter, a maxi skirt is such a logical choice. Wear a white blouse with a grey cardigan for the top. Pair them with a polka maxi skirt and brown ankle boots. This is such a beautiful winter outfit that can actually keep you warm.
Oversized Wool Coat with Mini Denim Skirt
For a stylish look, simply wear a white tee and a denim mini skirt with an oversized wool coat. For the shoes, ankle boots are perfect.
Chiffon Pleaded Skirt & Knee High Leather Boots
As a refreshing and unique winter look you can wear a chiffon pleaded skirt with the grey high neck sweater. Pair them with black knee high leather boots.
