The Chanel show is always one of the highlights of the Paris haute couture shows – not only can Karl Lagerfield be counted on to send out a stunning collection, but he always presents it in an unusual and exciting way. The Chanel show also tends to attract the best-dressed people in fashion, from Hollywood superstars to models and fashion muses. Attendees this year included Kristen Stewart (who is a particular favorite of Karl’s), Kris Jenner, Vanessa Paradis, Erin O’Connor, Ines de la Fressange, and Dylan Penn. There seemed to be a definite monochrone theme – some of the guests did choose to wear color, but plenty were in head to toe black and white, reflecting the classic Chanel aesthetic.
