The last ceremony of awards season, the Noble Awards are a little different to the other big Hollywood events. Instead of celebrating film, music, or fashion, they are dedicating to honouring celebrities who have contributed significantly to charity work in various different categories. This year, celebrities honoured included Rosario Dawson (for work on human rights), Nikki Reed (for animal advocacy, particularly with ISF and Wildlife Waystation) and David Arquette (for his work to eradicate poverty with the organization Feed America).
Zelda Williams walked the red carpet in a stunning cowl-neck silver gown. She was at the event to present an award to the Challenged Athletes Foundation, which was a favourite charity of her late father, Robin Williams.
As a former winner of one of the Noble Awards, actress AnnaLynne McCord returned this year as a guest at the ceremony. She wore an elegant silver gown with a fishtail skirt and subtle cut-outs at the waist. She played up the dress’s vintage but slightly edgy mood with Old Hollywood hair and dramatically dark lips.
One of this year’s new winners, Nikki Reed was accompanied by her boyfriend Ian Somerhalder. She chose to wear a simple black top and skirt with a flash of bright red lipstick and emerald green shoes. Her outfit is a great example of how to keep black interesting with a variety of different colours!
New winner Rosario Dawson opted for a pretty print dress. Her dark-toned floral maxi was formal without being extravagant, and she looked absolutely beautiful in it.
Do you think any other celebrities should have been recognised for their charity contributions? Have you heard Zelda’s moving speech about her father?
